Loved for Thousand Years

This series celebrates the Cymbidium orchid, which is among the oldest horticultural orchids in the world. It was first praised in writing for its beauty and fragrance some 2500 years ago by the Chinese philosopher Confucius, who described it as the “king of fragrance”. The zen-like simplicity of the cymbidium orchid speaks to us of virtue, purity and morality. This, together with its wonderful scent, make it beloved and admired throughout the ages.
